Divisions are groups of visitors who have created a story and activities for the other visitors with the help of the Blavicon organization team. Divisions support either the Northern Kingdom or Nilfgaard. However, there are two special divisions which are completely neutral. These are controlled by Blavicon and act differently than the other divisions. Whereas the elves have got their encampment and you can earn influence tokens from them, Novigrad is a place of entertainment, full of fun and gambling – this is where you will leave your tokens. The remaining divisions aim to ensure the victory of their supported side through activities and recruiting of new members.
Below you can find some basic information on the divisions which will be present at Blavicon. Being a member of a division is not required for participating on their activities. If you like LARPs and roleplay in general, the divisions and the whole-con game are right for you. If not, you can at least enjoy the programme the divisions are preparing for you!

We are the remnants of the Sirens tribe, the renegades from clan Tuirseach and other people and nonhumans, we gathered on our way to the eternal Sun. After Udalryk seized power, tough times began for us on Skellige. Even though nobody tried to drive us away at first, we could not stand as idle witnesses to the murder of our queen and the “peaceful” coup on the Isles. Our blood boiled with injustice and before long, we waged open fights. During the skirmishes, our ranks grew gradually thin. In the final battle, many of our brothers and sisters fell, and the thane of our tribe – Charming Zuu. With a handful of survivors, we took shelter with the dark druids, who were not eager to draw the king’s attention after the incident with Udalryk, berserkers and the hym. For several days, we pondered the next steps needed to take in order to restore order on Skellige. Finally, the tribe council decided we fulfil our queen’s wish and join the side of Nilfgaard. With the rest of our ships and a handful of fighters and druids, we set sail to the Continent to join the emperor and avenge the injustice perpetrated on Birna and the whole Skellige. We pledged our loyalty to the emperor, and thus Emhyr var Emreis, The White Flame Dancing on the Barrows of His Enemies, became our new idol.

The Mead Stripes division was created mainly as a set-aside group for soldiers whom their commander wouldn’t trust with a lit match, as well as for scammers and lazybones, because sending them to martial court would be more expensive than keeping them in the army. With the war imminent, however, tough times are coming, and Foltest himself has summoned even the Mead Stripes to war. The Mead Stripes are a support, non-regular unit, fulfilling menial tasks such as digging trenches, preparing lunch, caring for the wounded and mentally composted, or securing the recruitment of conscripts to the army of the North, and is glad if they are not much seen in the heat of battle. Don’t be mistaken, though – a valiant heart still beats in the chest of each of these soldiers! Well, it does beat there, but years of drudgery in this army will shake ideologies from you more reliably than a donkey high on fisstech. Be that as it may, the order is clear, and so the unit goes to battle once again – knowing that it would be ideal to dig a latrine as big as possible, and hopefully, Emhyr’s army will fall in it on the very first day.

Rumours about the impending war has been spreading through the empire for a long time. After the northern rulers agreed to form an alliance at the so-called Council of Kings, it was necessary for those loyal to the emperor to act. Hired assassins managed to eliminate some of the sovereigns, thus creating chaos and insecurity around King Foltest himself. When it turned out that the North will have the support of most of Skellige in the war campaign as well, everyone knew victory would not come easy. Despite that, Emperor Emhyr var Emreis did not withdraw his demands, and so the preparations for the offensive continued. Count Ardal aep Dahy knew what had to be done, and so he went to see the emperor with a humble request – to get permission to create his own military division, presumably consisting of enough people loyal to the empire, with no regard to their origin, who will help Nilfgaard achieve victory. After long persuasion, the emperor gave his consent, and the division was named Felle feainn, meaning the Bright Sun. So if you are proud to be a part of the biggest and the most prosperous realm in the world, join the Bright Sun and prove your worth to your emperor! Show all the northern dogs that even you will contribute to Nilfgaard’s victory and that your name will once be remembered as one of the many reasons why the North never stood a chance to avert the result of this war!

The Swingers originated from an unexpected meeting between Dandelion and Lord Havlík, commonly known as Tall Havlík. They immediately got along perfectly and began to visit more and more inns, where they drank, gambled and seduced women. Inebriated, they didn’t even notice their numbers grew, forming a whole group. Nilfgaard’s advance further into the northern territory got people worried, and thus they sought comfort in the lowest forms of revelry and bodily pleasures, seeing as the future of the North was unclear and every day could be the last.
Tall Havlík with Dandelion and their troupe started calling themselves the Swingers, and their reputation spread far and wide. However, their deeds were sometimes on the edge of the law, and over time, debauchery cost Tall Havlík all his estates, so the Swingers were all he got left. In the meantime, the war situation got so much worse, that the number of the dead were almost as high as the number of the living, and the North needed everyone who was battle-ready. And so one day, the Swingers were visited by an emissary of Foltest himself who presented them an offer: The Swingers will go fight against Nilfgaard, defend the North, and should the North win, Tall Havlík will get all his estates and wealth back. Furthermore, the Swingers’s history of gambling and squandering will be forgiven and forgotten, provided they will keep withing reasonable boundaries thereafter.
